Francisco Lindor keeps his promise and gives a new car to his teammate

Francisco Lindorit seems, finally complied.

In May 2022, the Puerto Rican shortstop for the New York Mets promised his teammate, second baseman Jeff McNeil, to give him a new car if he won the National League batting title during that season.

McNeil was the champion bat with a .326 average.

And this Monday, the Newsday journalist, Tim Healeypublished on the social network account X (formerly Twitter) an image of McNeil in front of a Ford Bronco bus, announcing that Lindor finally kept his promise.

Healey credited McNeil’s agent, Garrett Parcell, for the information.

Lindor and McNeil were the same ones who were involved in an incident in the Mets dugout in the middle of a game in the 2021 season.
