The San Francisco Giants round out their team with the signing of left-hander Blake Snell for two seasons and  million

Two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snelland the San Francisco Giants They agreed to a two-year, $62 million contract, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press late Monday.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal was contingent on a successful physical examination. Snell has the right to opt out after this season and become a free agent.

Snell receives a $17 million signing bonus payable on Jan. 15, 2026, and a $15 million salary this year. He would receive 30 million if he keeps the contract until 2025.

Snell, a 30-year-old left-hander, is 71-55 with a 3.20 ERA in 191 starts in eight major league seasons, winning the Cy Young in 2018 with Tampa Bay and last year with San Diego.
