A shooting during the early morning leaves one dead and three injured in Juana Diaz

A shooting attack resulted in the death of one person and three others were wounded by gunshot wounds early this Monday in Juana Diaz, the Police reported.

The events were reported at around 2:10 am, on PR-149, kilometer 63.2, in the Tocadillo sector of the aforementioned municipality.

The authorities noticed because, at that moment, agents from the Juana Diaz district were patrolling the area. Upon hearing gunshots, officers responded to the scene and found one man dead and three wounded.

“The three injured men were transported to different hospitals in the area for care,” the police report indicates.

The victims were not immediately identified, while investigators try to find a motive for the crime.

Until this Sunday, the Police had reported 378 murders so far this year, 86 less than the 464 registered on the same date in 2022.
