Beach volleyball: Allanis Navas and Maria Gonzalez open their participation in Santiago 2023 with a victory

The Puerto Rican women’s beach volleyball team, composed of Allanis Navas and Maria Gonzalez, This Saturday he began his participation in the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 with an easy victory in two sets over the Colombians Diana Rios and Margarita Guzman.

The winning scores were 21-15 and 21-10.

In the match that lasted about 34 minutes, the Puerto Ricans successfully achieved 24 attacks and one block.

The Puerto Rican team’s second game will be on Sunday at 4:30 pm against Salvadorans Laura Molina and Nadia Soler.

Puerto Rico is part of Group C which also includes Brazil, which will be Monday’s opponent at the close of the first round at 3:30 p.m.
