The singer-songwriter Jean Manuelwho after more than two decades in music touring local and international stages with great artists and with songs of his own, will offer a concert in acoustic format on February 9 and 10, 2024 at Bohemius Cafe Teatro in Caguas to celebrate love and heartbreak.
Accompanied by guitarist George De Leon, Jr. (three-time Grammy Award nominee) and great musicians, he promises to captivate his audience in a show that is distinguished by its song selection, intimate arrangements and sound quality. As part of the month of love and friendship, the talented artists Juan Riestra, Ana del Rocio and Maddy Rivera, are already more than ready to present their show “De Bohemia, Flamenco y Mal de Amores”, where they come together for the first time in a night of music, dance and comedy.
The evening will take place this Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 7:30 pm, at the Music Museum, located at Calle Isabel #1450 in Ponce.
“Ponce is now my home and I am happy to return, but this time to share the stage with two great artists from Ponce, Juan and Maddy. For my part, I will have the privilege of making people enjoy the musical hits of all time, but covered to the sound of flamenco rumba,” said Ana del Rocio, known by many as ‘The Flamenco Voice of Puerto Rico’. .
For his part, the singer and historian Juan Riestra will be accompanied by his guitar to delight those present with his bohemian and other romantic themes. Riestra is a historian, teacher and singer-songwriter who seeks to communicate the history of Puerto Rico through original music. Since 2017 he has been the director of the band Los Bohiques, a musical project that tells the Puerto Rican story by fusing traditional and modern rhythms.
The comedy of the night will be performed by actress Maddy Rivera, who added that through her stand-up she will be taking the audience on a journey of laughter between what love and lovesickness are. The show will have the exquisite Belly Dance dancer, Nicole Muller, as a guest artist, who will captivate everyone with her movements and sensuality.
