Eladio Carrion inaugurates his foundation ‘Sauce for a Cause’

The Puerto Rican urban artist Eladio Carrion inaugurated his foundation ‘Sauce for a Cause‘, whose goal is to be a leader in creating innovative programs that address the basic needs of low-income communities.

The foundation’s mission is based on six pillars: community empowerment, animal welfare, arts and culture, youth development, social responsibility and disaster relief and resilience.

The announcement of the organization was made during the annual event offered by Carrion, ‘Sauce Dogz Spay Day’, in which 88 pets, including 63 dogs and 25 cats, were sterilized in the Animal Protection and Adoption Center in San Juan last Saturday.

The event included a special drawing for those who have previously adopted dogs from the local shelter, explains a press release released Monday.

The winners of the raffle will have the opportunity to meet Carrion at one of his three concerts at the Puerto Rico Coliseum, in San Juan, on May 2, 3 and 4, with the aim of promoting the responsible adoption of pets and rewarding adopters.
