The pre-candidate for resident commissioner for the New Progressive Party (PNP), Elmer Romanassured this Friday that he has “the letter of introduction” to represent Puerto Rico in Washington, while he was confident that he will win on Sunday, despite not being favored in La El Nuevo Dia Survey.

“The biggest survey, well, honestly, and not to disparage anything, is this Sunday’s survey, of the electorate going out to vote. The more people go out to vote, you will see that the (result) will be different,” Roman commented.

If the primaries were held today, Villafane would prevail with 54% of the votes, compared to the 44% that his rival, Elmer Roman, would obtain, according to La Survey. This 10-point advantage is outside the margin of error for the sample of 750 participants, which is plus or minus 4%. 2% said, in the survey, that they are not sure how to vote.
