At once, The SNM issued a heat warning that will be in effect from 10:00 am for the coastal municipalities of the northwest, west and eastern area of ​​Puerto Rico, including Vieques and Culebra, as well as a heat warning from Carolina to the Arecibo area..

During a heat advisory, the temperature can fluctuate between 108 to 111 degrees Fahrenheit, while in a heat advisory the temperatures could rise to above 112 degrees.

Regarding maritime conditions, the SNM reported that, for the moment, the waves remain between two to four feet in Atlantic waters and between one to three feet in Caribbean waters. They also noted that this could change at night, when maritime conditions are expected to begin to deteriorate with the approach of Tropical Storm Tammy to our area.
