Federal judge overturns default judgment against reggaeton singer Anuel AA and his label Real Hasta La Muerte

The federal judge Pedro Delgado cancelled the partial sentence in rebellion against the exponent of the urban genre Emmanuel Gazmey Santiagoknown as “Anuel AA”, and your company, Real Until Death, LLCfor a debt claimed by the advertising agency Buena Vibra Group, LLC.

The lawsuit was filed on August 21, 2023 by the aforementioned agency under allegations of breach of contract, unjust enrichment and damages, and the judge had ordered the reggaeton singer, as was revealed in January, to pay over $1.7 million for the lawsuit.

However, the federal judge issued a memorandum on Wednesday ruling in favor of the urban music artist and his brand, and annulled the default judgment so that they can respond to the lawsuit no later than July 15. In this way, the million-dollar payment that Anuel AA had to make as part of the lawsuit is also suspended for the time being.
