Ferdinand Perez ready for his debut as a theater producer

The children’s musical play “Lost in the Museum” by Puerto Rican playwright Salvador Mendez will be the first production to take to the stage as a result of the alliance between the host of the radio and television program “Playing Hard Ball” by TeleOnce, Ferdinand PerezMaximiliano Paglia and Father Orlando Lugo Perez.

The premiere of the piece will be on September 11, 2024 at the Caguas Fine Arts Center. The performance will serve as a fundraising activity for the non-profit corporation, Teatro de Barrio.

We want to use theater as a tool for education and healthy entertainment for all families. I asked Father Orlando Lugo that our first play together tell stories that should never be forgotten, like that of Roberto Clemente. I am very concerned that children and youth are carried away by social models that do nothing to contribute to their education and social commitment. We must not allow our Puerto Rican heroes, who with so much sacrifice and talent have made world history, to be forgotten. Those of us who have influence in the media feel obliged to contribute to this social good and try to positively impact as many families and schools as possible.“, said Ferdinand Perez, executive producer of this children’s musical along with Maximiliano Paglia.
