First Puerto Rican Stop in San Juan: this will be the logistics of the historic event

The organizing committee of the Junte Boricua disclosed the access plans to Old San Juan for the celebration of the First Puerto Rican Parade on the island, scheduled for this Saturday, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pmin a historic event that will bring together thousands of local and diaspora Puerto Ricans.

The activities will continue from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a variety of artistic and musical presentations, distributed across various stages that will be located in the squares of the Walled City.

For the occasion, a work agenda was designed that will begin at 6:00 in the morning with the closure of Constitucion Avenue, where – later – the parade of about 45 floats, troupes and delegations will pass.

Meanwhile, Luis Munoz Rivera and Manuel Fernandez Juncos avenues will remain open to allow the passage of public transportation and the flow of vehicles to the different parking lots in the area, “as long as traffic allows us.”
