Flood warnings and advisories issued for several towns on the island

The National Meteorological Service (SNM) issued, on Wednesday afternoon, flood warnings and notices for several municipalities in the interior of Puerto Rico during the passage of a stationary trough that continues to develop a pattern of heavy rains.

According to a special bulletin issued by that entity, the municipalities of Lares and San Sebastian are found under a flash flood warning that will be in effect until 4:45 p.m..

Likewise, the people of Ciales, Morovis and Orocovis are under flood warning until 4:30 p.m.

On the other hand, the SNM also added the municipalities of Jayuya and Utuado under its flood warnings. These will be under alert until 4:45 pm

The municipalities of Anasco and Moca were also included.

At the same time, the municipalities of Camuy, Hatillo, Isabela and Quebradillas will be under a flood warning until 6:00 p.m.
