Those looking to carry out activities with religious themes, related to Holy Week, should know that For 70 years, a living via crusis has been carried out annually through the streets of the community of Barrio Obrero.in Santurce.

As is tradition, The Nuestra Senora del Carmen Parish, in Barrio Obrero, Santurce, invites citizens to reflect and take part in this event that will take place on Friday, March 29, 2024, starting at 5:00 pm This living station of the cross, inspired by the passion of Jesus Christ on the way to Mount Calvary, will begin in front of the parish on Avenida Borinquen and will culminate at the starting point with the dramatization of the crucifixion.

“This is the 70th anniversary of this holy tradition of processional history through the main streets and avenues of the old Santurcino sector”indicated the parish priest Jose Miguel Cedeno, who made a call for deep reflection in this Holy Week. “We invite you to take advantage of these days to celebrate faith, to celebrate that we are children of God and of the church, to bear witness to life in Christ and to sow in the midst of culture the hope and love that is born from the Risen Lord.”.
