He Institute of Forensic Sciences (ICF) confirmed this Tuesday that the body of a woman found in Arecibo last Friday inside a plastic bag corresponds to the young woman Yeslliam Mendez Nieveswho was reported missing on October 12.
The agency indicated, through written statements, that A family member authorized for the identification process was notified today of the conclusion of the analysis carried out by the forensic odontologist, who confirmed the identity of Mendez Nieves through a comparison of dental plates.
The ICF added that the autopsy of the 24-year-old woman was completed last Sunday.
According to the Police, Mendez Nieves was last seen on Friday, October 6, on Constitucion Avenue, near the Diagnosis and Treatment Center (CDT) Marrero in Arecibo.
