Haitian government demands justice for Jovenel Moise three years after his assassination

The transitional government of Haiti This Sunday he demanded justice for the ill-fated president Jovenel Moiseon the third anniversary of his murder, whose local investigation remains stalled although several people have been convicted in USA for this crime.

Moise was tortured and murdered in the early hours of July 7, 2021, at his private residence in the Petion-ville sector of the capital by a group of mercenaries, mostly Colombians.

On the third anniversary of the assassination, the Haitian government organized a ceremony of reflection and remembrance in Port-au-Prince in memory of Moise, which was attended by, among others, the Prime Minister, Garry Conilleministers, as well as several members of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT).

The president of the CPT, Edgard Leblanc Fils, He used his Facebook account to remember the Minister of Justice, Carlos Hercule, “that everything possible must be done to bring about public action against the instigators, perpetrators and accomplices of this atrocious murder.”
