Harvard Study Reveals How Many Eggs You Can Eat in a Week

Fitness and high-protein diets made the consumption of egg in recent times and they took this food out of the ostracism into which it had fallen for being considered for many years, as one of the bad guys in the movie of cholesterol. However, the Harvard University reported how much of this food is safe to eat and why you shouldn’t overindulge.

Towards the end of the 20th century, eggs were associated with an increase in harmful LDL cholesterol and, consequently, the risk of contracting heart disease. That is why, at least in our Argentine culture, daily consumption was avoided. The truth is that thanks to various studies carried out in the two decades of the 2000s, it was known that it could be beneficial to include them in a daily diet due to the nutritional value they possess.

How many eggs can you eat in a week?

In a study that analyzed 40,000 men and 80,000 women, they discovered that consuming up to one egg a day did not cause major heart problems in healthy people. It was thus proven that cholesterol present in food has a lower incidence on the development of LDL cholesterol in the blood.
