Heliot Ramos scores a run and drives in two more in Giants’ win

Atlanta- Logan Webb bounced back from a poor first-inning performance to continue his success story at Truist Park, and the San Francisco Giants beat Charlie Morton and the Atlanta Braves 4-2 on Thursday.

Matt Chapman hit a long homer as part of a three-run fourth inning and added a two-run double in the sixth. San Francisco took two of three against the Braves to win its third straight series.

Webb (7-6) allowed two runs in the first inning but then struck out six to improve to 3-0 in five career starts in Atlanta. Overall, he allowed two runs in seven innings.

The Giants have won seven of 10 games.

Dominican Camilo Doval pitched the ninth inning to earn his 16th save, including two in this series. Fellow Dominican Marcell Ozuna opened the ninth with an infield hit before Doval recorded three consecutive outs.
