Actors Jorge Luis Ramos and Carlos Esteban Fonseca return with “I’m Like Never” under the direction of Vicente Castro next Sunday, September 17, at 3:00 in the afternoon at the Monero Cafe Teatro y Bar in the Centro de Bellas Arts of Caguas.
The public that attended last weekend’s performances were fascinated by the story of Pipe, who shows the beginnings of Alzheimer’s, and his great friend Quinin, who was determined to help his friend get out of his room where he is barricaded. Pipe is waiting for the musicians who, according to him, come to fulfill his dream of being a famous singer. Little by little, the memories and the friendship that unites them give a twist to the story, causing an unexpected ending.
In this work the audience will inevitably reflect on: What am I capable of doing for a friend? How can I help someone whom I love and have known for many years and who is beginning to show these signs?
The work will make you laugh, but also reflect, the production assures.
