Jasmine Camacho-Quinn will return to the track this Saturday at the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon

Puerto Rican Jasmine Camacho-Quinn looks like one of the favorites to conquer the Prefontaine Classicof the Diamond League circuit, which will be held this Saturday at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

If successful, she would add her fourth victory in five opportunities this season. The Puerto Rican competition will be broadcast on the NBC network and the streaming Peacock at 4:41 pm (island time).

Last year, the Olympic champion in the 100 meters hurdles finished this race in second place with a time of 12.38 seconds, only behind the Nigerian Tobi Amusan with 12.33, who has not had her best performance so far this season and will not compete in the competition on this occasion.

The Puerto Rican hurdler, for her part, has just seen her winning streak interrupted after May 10 at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix, in California, finishing fourth, after a false start signal. However, she was allowed to run after approaching the starter to claim her determination. Camacho-Quinn stopwatch 12.66.
