Jennifer Lopez makes fun of her marriages in new music video “Can’t Get Enough”

Miami – Jennifer Lopez He released his new pop song this Wednesday “Can’t Get Enough”, the first single from his next albumwhich was accompanied by a fun music video in which he seems to mock his marriage record.

The song is part of the 13 songs on Lopez’s ninth studio album, his first in a decade, which he plans to present on February 16.

With the title of “This Is Me Now”, The new album is part of an ambitious project by ‘La diva del Bronx’, with which she will tell in a musical and audiovisual way her emotional life of the last 20 years, until her reconciliation and marriage with her current partner, the actor Ben Affleck.

“You can say that I have been preparing for this day for two decades,” Lopez said about this launch last Sunday, during an interview from the Golden Globes carpet.

“I think it may surprise some people. It’s a kind of meta-story about the path you have to take to return from heartbreak to love… You could say that I’m a kind of expert. Not so much in marriages as in weddings,” she added in a fun allusion to the four times she has reached the altar.

“I don’t take myself too seriously, I think life is a crazy journey where you fall and get back up and keep trying and never give up,” she said.

The video, to which EFE had access, evokes film musicals. In it you can see Lopez dressed in different wedding dresses, while dancing with three fictitious boyfriends, who could represent her three ex-husbands, the Cuban Ojani Noa, the American choreographer Cris Judd and the salsa singer Marc Anthony.

“Can’t Get Enough” is a dance pop song in English, which follows the light style of Lopez’s songs that have been successful worldwide.

J.Lo, as her fans call her, had revealed last November the names of all the songs on the album.

These include: “This Is Me… Now”, “To Be Yours”, “Mad in Love”, “Can’t Get Enough”, “Rebound”, “not.going.anywhere”, “Dear Ben, Pt .II”, “Hummingbird”, “Hearts and Flowers”, “Broken Like Me”, “This Time Around’” “Midnight Trip to Vegas”, “Greatest Love Story Never Told”.

The album is a companion to “This Is Me…Then,” which she wrote during her first courtship with Affleck.

In addition to being the inspiration for both productions, Affleck has been an active part of his project, which includes an audiovisual part that will be released in parallel with the album in Prime Video.

“He sees me as an artist. He knows that I will express myself how I need to. He is my biggest ‘fan’ and my biggest defender, as I am of him,” she said.

In addition to preparing the release of her album, her first since 2014, the New York artist of Puerto Rican parents is preparing her leading role in the new adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
