The resident commissioner in Washington, Jennifer Gonzalezrejected this Wednesday that his attendance on Tuesday at the State Situation Message It was a political move as part of his campaign, facing the primary in which the incumbent is measured Pedro Pierluisi for the candidacy for the governorship of New Progressive Party (PNP).

“It was an official move because I, as a candidate for governor, would not have had access to the chamber of the House (of Representatives). I went in my capacity as resident commissioner. I was there and listened to it, I applauded some things and there were others that I understood should have been mentioned.”said Gonzalez, who identified as topics missing from the message the energy issue, the reconstruction of schools in the south and a status plebiscite.
