The resident commissioner’s campaign team Jennifer Gonzalez raised before the consideration of the alternate president of the State Election Commission (EEC), Jessika Padilla Riveraa complaint in which they denounce that an “institutional official” supposedly “intentionally” damaged two early voting ballots in favor of the pre-candidate for governor of the New Progressive Party (PNP).

The procedure before the EEC emerged only one day after Gonzalez sued the PNP electoral commissioner, Vanessa Santo Domingo, for supposedly expelling one of its representatives from the early and absent vote counting area in the electoral entity. In that case, the parties reached an agreement this Friday, in the Court of San Juan, with the aim of putting an end to the controversy.
