Hours before the last State Situation Message of the quadrennium, the representative Jose “Cheito” Rivera Madera This Tuesday he hung two banners on the doors of his office with the aim of demanding “salary justice” for Special Education assistants and denouncing that the governor Pedro Pierluisi “He lied” to students in schools in the south of the country.

“In the governor’s first message, we made a complaint about the schools in the south and, three messages later, the schools in the south are still destroyed. Very little has been done about schools there. “Other schools that were closed years ago have been refurbished and students have been placed there, but the schools themselves that were affected by the earthquakes are still destroyed.”said the legislator from the precincts of Yauco, Guayanilla, Penuelas and Ponce, in an interview with The new day.

In Pierluisi’s first message, Rivera Madera stood up with a piece of cardboard that read: “Schools for the south!!! “Enough of the promises.”
