Juan Zaragoza: “My candidacy is not a childish aspiration to have power and live in Fortaleza”

The senator Juan Zaragoza, who closed on Sunday – from the town of Aguadilla – his campaign for the candidacy for governor of Popular Democratic Party (PPD), appealed to the votes of the popular people and maintained that his aspiration is not “childish” or motivated by power or the desire to live in La Fortaleza, but is born from hope for a better Puerto Rico.

“My desire to be your governor is not born from the agenda of those who are seeking to cook with the government’s money. No. “That’s not Juan Zaragoza,” said the candidate during a message that lasted about 30 minutes. “I am going to form a major league team, but to manage a major league team you have to have played in the major leagues,” he pointed.

“My candidacy is born from the hope of seeing a better Puerto Rico. From the desire to give my country what it once gave me and that allowed a young man of humble birth, from a family without resources or a surname, to be educated, be successful in his work and come to occupy the highest positions in the sectors where he has worked,” he said before a large group of followers.
