Juan Zaragoza points out “sexist violence” against officials of his campaign

The pre-candidate for governor Popular Democratic Party (PPD), Juan Zaragoza Gomezcame out this Friday to the radio presenter Ruben Sanchez in the face of the attacks that he allegedly launched against officials of his campaign and accused him of engaging in acts of “sexist violence”.

Zaragoza Gomez’s expressions arose after what happened in the debate for the PPD governorship, broadcast by WAPA Television, and the comments that Sanchez outlined in his program on the radio station WKAQ 580 against his campaign director, Idalia Colon and his relationship specialist, Betsy Nazario.

“As a candidate for governor I can tolerate hostile environments against me but I will never be complicit in sexist violence. In the face of abuse I will always stand up above any strategy of political convenience,” said Zaragoza Gomez on the social network X.

“In the face of the intemperate, profane and violent attack against two professional women, silence would only be a hypocritical act of cowardly complicity. “My campaign is led by women and women deserve respect,” added the president of the Senate Finance Committee.
