Juanma Lopez, son, convinces his father to get a tattoo of the Olympic rings

The boxer Juanma Lopez, son, is preparing hard to represent Puerto Rico in the Paris Olympics 2024in which he dreams of bringing a medal, and he will do so with the Olympic rings marked on his skin.

The 18-year-old boxer added his name to the national delegation that will compete in the summer event – scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11 – in the pre-Olympic tournament that was held in the Italian city of Busto Arsizio in March.

He joined his name to that of the boxer Ashleyann Lozada, who earned a spot in the Pan American Games Santiago 2023as the only members of the National Team with tickets to Paris.

And of the boxers classified by their weight (51 kilograms) for the event, Lopez understands that he is the youngest.

“I want to make history more than anything because at such a young age it would be great to achieve an Olympic medal. Furthermore, I would do it with little experience, unlike my opponents, who are older and have more experience,” said the boxer.
