Kamala Harris focuses on her personal story during her speech to Black and Asian voters

Dallas — First, the Vice President Kamala Harris went to Snowfall for an event to reach out to the Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders as part of President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign, referring to attendees as “old friends.”

He then traveled to Dallas to speak in the annual meeting of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the black sorority she joined as a student at Howard University, one of the most successful historically black universities in the United StatesThere she discussed with her fellow sorority sisters what is at stake in the November elections.

Events where she appeared on consecutive days this week lay bare how her racial identity and personal history could help Joe Biden’s faltering re-election campaign after her much-criticized performance in the June 27 debate, as well as making her a formidable potential replacement should the president withdraw from the race.
