Kamala Harris’ husband tests positive for COVID-19

The Vice President’s husband Kamala Harris has tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing mild symptoms, his office announced on Sunday.

The vice president has tested negative and has no symptomshe added.

The second knight Doug Emhoff “He is fully vaccinated and has received three booster shots,” said his spokeswoman Liza Acevedo.

He added that Emhoff “is currently asymptomatic, continues to work remotely and is distancing himself from the other residents of the home.”

Harris said she took a COVID test on Saturday “out of an abundance of caution” and that it came back negative. She is scheduled to campaign for president Joe Biden in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Emhoff previously tested positive for the virus in March 2022, and Harris tested positive the following month.

Biden tested positive for COVID in July 2022, and tested positive again about three days after being allowed to leave isolation, in a rare case of a recurrence despite treatment with an antiviral drug.
