Once placed on its base at the substation Saint Elizabeth, LUMA Energy reported this Sunday that it is now in the process of assembling the components of the megatransformer that will replace the damaged unit that, since June 2, affects the electric energy service for the residents of the aforementioned municipality, as well as those of Coamo and Aibonito.

These are parts of the equipment that had been removed from the electrical device to facilitate its transportation from Caguas to Santa Isabel. In statements to this medium he added that, During the next few days, rigorous tests will be carried out on the megatransformer.

The team arrived at the Santa Isabel substation at 1:25 in the morning on Saturday, after completing the transfer of the unit that was made from the Buen Pastor substation, in Caguas, on a route that covered over 45 miles by land and more than 120 nautical miles.
