Meteorology issues flood warning for several municipalities in the interior of the island

He National Weather Service (SNM) issued a warning floods urban and small streams for six island municipalities during the afternoon today.

At the moment, the towns that are under warning of urban flooding and small streams are:

• Adjuntas, Lares, Las Marias and Utuado, until 6:00 pm
• Ciales and Morovis, until 6:15 pm

The entity reported through a publication through X (formerly Twitter), that Isolated showers and thunderstorms continue to develop through sectors of the central interior of the island and warned that they could generate water accumulation on roads and areas of poor drainage.

Likewise, the SNM indicated that additional development of showers is possible over sectors of the northwest during the afternoon.
