Two vehicle accidents on the Roman Baldorioty de Castro expressway (PR-26), kilometer 6.2 in the direction of San Juan to Carolina, and on the Luis A. Ferre highway (PR-52), kilometer 6.2 in the direction of Caguas to San Juan, have caused traffic congestion on both roads this morning, Monday.
According to police reports, In none of these accidents were injuries reported and both were classified as “minor in nature.”.
In the PR-26 accident, the San Juan Municipal Police were present along with agents from the San Juan Highway and Patrol Division of the Puerto Rico Police and firefighters. Meanwhile, the accident on PR-52 is being attended to by Patrol and Highway units.
People traveling through PR-26 are recommended to take alternate routes, such as the Minillas tunnel exit towards Bayamon.
