One prisoner died and two others were injured in the Georgia jail where Donald Trump was booked

Washington – One prisoner was stabbed to death and two others were injured at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia. where former US President Donald Trump spent 20 minutes on August 24 to be booked for attempting to commit electoral fraud.

County authorities reported that the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon without offering further details about the identity of the victims or the reasons for the attack.

So far this year, nine prisoners have died at the Fulton prisonof them five in the last 30 days, according to local media.

The Fulton County prison is known for the harsh conditions in which inmates live to the point that the Department of Justice launched an investigation into its operations in July.

Thursday’s deadly attack comes a few hours after Harrison Floyd, one of Trump’s allies and also charged in the attempt to reverse his defeat in the 2020 presidential election, was released from the Georgian prison.

Floyd, leader of the organization “Black Voices for Trump,” was released on Wednesday after spending six days in Fulton prison.

Floyd, the only one of the 19 charged with the attempted fraud who has spent a night in prison, was released from jail after agreeing to $100,000 bail.
