Pre-candidates for the governorship tour the island in a last effort ahead of the primary day

The candidates for governor and resident commissioner this Saturday emptied their last cartridges of the campaign heading to Sunday’s primaries, in which the New Progressive Party (PNP) will define its candidates for both positions, while those affiliated with the Popular Democratic Party (PPD) will do the same with the candidate for the highest elective position.

The governor Pedro Pierluisiwho seeks to overcome the challenge of the resident commissioner Jennifer Gonzaleztoday toured five senatorial districts, starting in Arecibo, at 10:00 am

Subsequently, the president would go to Mayaguez, Ponce, Cayey and Carolina, where he would take the opportunity to meet with those in charge of electoral mobilization in the different regions, as well as with PNP leaders who support his aspiration for re-election, such as the president of the Federation of Mayors, Gabriel Hernandez Rodriguezand the senator William Villafanewhom Pierluisi supports in his candidacy for resident commissioner.
