Psoriasis patient care day

The 67th World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO) recognized in 2014 that psoriasis is a non-communicable, chronic, painful disease for which there is still no cure.

10 years after this historic resolution, the Puerto Rican Association to Help Psoriasis Patients (APAPP) invited psoriasis patients to a educational activity and annual assembly that will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at John Dewey University, located in the Lomas Industrial Park, in Juana Diaz. The activity is free of cost.

“This resolution represents an endorsement by the WHO of the demands of psoriasis patient associations around the world to improve access to treatments and medical care that patients need and deserve, as well as to work to eliminate the exclusion that many patients face,” he indicated through written statements Leticia Lopez, executive director of APAPP.
