Puerto Rican Jeremy de Leon travels again with Real Madrid for a Champions League match

Despite not being registered on the official list, Puerto Rican soccer player Jeremy de Leon was part of the Real Madrid delegation that traveled to Germany for their semifinal match this Tuesday against Bayer Munich in the Champions League.

It is the second time that the 20-year-old Puerto Rican travels with the Madrid club to a match in the prestigious competition. He also made the trip in the quarter-final return leg against Manchester City. The Spanish eleventh made it to the semifinals and De Leon even celebrated on the field with the other members.

Like the previous match, the Puerto Rican winger will not be able to play, as he is not registered in the competition. Currently, the Puerto Rican plays for Real Madrid Castilla, a subsidiary of the first team in the third category of Spanish football.

De Leon, who arrived at the white club in the winter transfer window from Castellon, only has one assist in the competition. He did it in October 2023, when he was still playing for his old club and precisely against his now new home, Madrid Castilla.
