Puerto Rican Johnathan Rodriguez hits his first hit in the Majors

Puerto Rican Johnathan Rodriguez drove in David Fry with a single in the seventh inning for his first major league hit, and the Cleveland Guardians They beat the 6-3 on Wednesday New York Mets.

Rodriguez, in his second game after being called up from Triple-A Columbus two days earlier, hit a grounder to the far right of the infield off Reed Garrett (5-1) to break a 3-3 tie.
