Puerto Rican Jose Berrios records another good start against the Royals but loses again

Toronto – Michael Massey hit a two-run homer, Cole Ragans struck out nine in 6.2 innings and the Kansas City Royals They beat the 4-1 on Tuesday Toronto Blue Jays to end a three-game losing streak.

Bobby Witt Jr. reached base three times and drove in a run as the Royals improved to 17-11 in April. It’s the most wins Kansas City has had in a month since finishing 17-9 in June 2017.

Ragans (2-2) allowed one run and four hits. The left-hander had to leave due to a cramp in his left calf and after walking two consecutive batters. John Schreiber came on and retired Cavan Biggio to end the inning.

Schreiber got four outs and right-hander James McArthur finished the job for his seventh save in eight opportunities.
