The sports rivalry between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic was revealed this Friday and the Puerto Ricans took the best part in a final of nerves, coming out with a 102-97 victory coming from behind, at the beginning of the second round of the FIBA World Cup.
The Dominican Republic arrived with a perfect 3-0 record, after dominating Group A undefeated. Puerto Rico, for its part, presented 2-1 after its three games in Group B. Now both play for a 3-1 record.
Serbia and Italy complete Group I, from which the two best teams will qualify for the quarterfinals.
