Rafael “Tatito” Hernandez votes confident that he will prevail in the PPD race for mayor of Dorado

Golden Rafael “Tatito” Hernandez Montanezpre-candidate for mayor of this municipality for the Popular Democratic Party (PPD), voted mid-morning on Sunday, at the Jacinto Lopez Martinez school, and assured that he will end the primary day with an advantage of between 700 and 800 votes over the incumbent Carlos Lopez Rivera.

Hernandez Montanez voted accompanied by his mother, Dora Montanezand his wife, Maria Maritza Torres.

The also president of the House of Representatives tries to unseat Lopez Rivera, who has been at the head of Golden and aspires to its eleventh four-year term.

“There are countless people participating, there is a long line. That’s good because people are going out to vote. In primaries, typically, people don’t go out to vote. If they go out to vote, it is looking for change. So (I am) positive that the numbers are going to be significant against the opposition.”Hernandez Montanez, who is completing his fourth term as a legislator, told the media.
