The fusion of rhythms and sounds between different musical genres is something that has been done since time immemorial, but more frequently in this modern era. However, it is not so common for popular genres, such asbomba and salsa, to be used to create a classical music concert.

For that reason, those who say they are present on Saturday, April 27, at 7:00 pm in the Symphony Hall of the Santurce Fine Arts Center, They will have a listening experience that is out of the ordinary. That day the “Triple concerto for violin, cello, piano and orchestra”composed by the laureate Raymond Torres Santosand which will be interpreted by the Sanroma Trio and the musicians of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra (OSPR). Everyone will be directed by the teacher Maximiano Valdes.

This concert is not only the closing of this season, but also puts an end to an entire year of celebrating the 65th anniversary of the OSPR. For this reason, a little over a year ago, Torres Santos was commissioned to create this concert, emphasizing the use of the trio of instruments together with the orchestra.
