Relatives of shooting victims sue Meta, video game company and weapons manufacturer

Austin, Texas— The relatives of the 19 victims of the shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde announced on Friday new lawsuits against Instagram’s parent companyMeta Platforms, against the video game manufacturer “Call of Duty“, and against the weapons company that manufactured the assault rifle used in the shooting.

The lawsuits against Meta, Activision and Daniel Defense were announced on the second anniversary of the Robb Elementary School massacre.

The families They accuse these companies of partnering to promote and create content designed to glorify combat, gun violence, and slaughter.so they served as effective training for the teenager who killed 19 students and two teachers in one of the deadliest school shootings in US history.

There is a direct correlation between the conduct of these companies and the Uvalde shooting“said Josh Koskoff, the families’ attorney. “This three-headed monster exposed him to the weapon, conditioned him to see it as a tool to solve his problems, and trained him to use it.”
