Semifinal between Puerto Rican players in the United States Pro Volleyball Federation

The semi-finals of the first edition of the Pro Volleyball Federation of the United States will present a clash between Puerto Rican players starting this Wednesday.

The Puerto Rican setter Natalia Valentin and his team Supernovas from Omaha will face Mojo from San Diego in the semifinal of the American competition, where the libero are active Shara Venegas and Nomaris Velez.

The semifinal is a single match and the winner will clash at the coronation ball against the team that prevails between the Vibe of Atlanta and Rise Grand Rapids, scheduled to be held on May 18.

Valentin, who on May 7 was recognized as the Player of the Week (the only Puerto Rican to achieve this in the entire regular season), culminated with 473 assists in the tournament. She shares the setter position with Sydney Hilley, who recorded 592 assists. Venegas, on the other hand, was the fourth libero with the most defenses in the campaign with 345 digs.
