Suspected killer of BBC journalist’s wife and daughters arrested

British police on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of having killed the wife and two daughters of a TV presenter with a crossbow. BBC in Bushey, just outside Londonit said in a statement.

After several hours of searching, the authorities found the detainee, Kyle Clifford, 26, was found near a north London cemetery with “injuries” and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said the suspect had been found with his injuries and that he did not fire any shots at Clifford.

Hertfordshire Crime Unit Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins said the investigation was ongoing, with the victims being “formally identified”: Carol Hunt, 61, and sisters Hannah and Louise Hunt, 28 and 25, the wife and daughters of BBC Radio 5 horse racing presenter John Hunt, as reported by the BBC itself.
