The Celtics beat Luka Doncic’s 30 points and open the first game of the NBA final with victory

Boston- Jaylen Brown scored 22 points, Kristaps Porzingis added 20 in his first game in more than a month and the Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 on Thursday in the first game of the NBA Finals.

Derrick White added 15 points for Boston, which took a maximum lead of 29 and made 16 three-pointers in a complete coup of authority in the attempt to win its eighteenth championship.

Porzingis, who has been out of action since April 29 due to a sprained right calf, came off the bench and sparked immediately, contributing six rebounds and three blocks in 21 minutes.

Six Celtics finished in double figures.

Dallas had a hint of reaction and closed what became a 29-point gap by getting within eight points in the third quarter. But Boston knew how to restrain the reaction and dominated again in the final stretch.

Luka Doncic led Dallas with 30 points. PJ Washington added 14 points and eight rebounds. But the Mavericks could not be consistent on offense, totaling just nine assists on their 35 field goals in the game.
