The number of schools with discrepancies in the PNP primaries increases to 734

The electoral commissioner of the New Progressive Party (PNP), Vanessa Santo Domingo, reported that, since Sunday, the number of voting stations in which discrepancies have been found between the results issued by the counting machine and the primary voting records has increased from 300 to 734.

“There are 734 schools in which there may be inconsistencies”The lawyer said this Monday about the process to know the results of the PNP primaries.

After identifying the discrepancies, last week, the PNP began an audit in five voting stations, corresponding to precincts in Aguas Buenas, Arroyo, San Juan, Toa Baja and Las Marias. Saint Dominic also asked the Office of Information Systems and Technological Processing (Osipe) of the State Election Commission (CEE) apply filters to have greater certainty with the results.

The PNP electoral commissioner specified that she asked Osipe to verify polling stations where there were numbers that did not match, where there were no results and others in which the total number of ballots did not coincide with the number of representatives of the candidates.
