The United States considers measures to help Palestinian citizens transfer family members from the Gaza Strip

Washington— The president’s government Joe Biden considers measures to help Palestinians living in the United States who want to bring relatives living in the country to the country Gaza Strip.

“We are constantly evaluating policy proposals to provide more support to Palestinians who are family members of American citizens and may want to come to the United States,” the U.S. press secretary said. White HouseKarine Jean-Pierre, on Wednesday.

Jean-Pierre said the issue is already under discussion, but he had no details on what the process would be. The new measures would help those who are legal permanent residents or US citizens who have family members in the region.

It is currently difficult for anyone to leave the Gaza Strip as the war between Israel and Hamas continues, in which more than 34,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, according to local health authorities. About two-thirds of the total were women and children.
