The United States will send Ukraine another 0 million in ammunition

WashingtonUSA will announce on Tuesday the shipment to Ukraine of another $150 million in ammunition, after Moscow accused Kiev of using ammunition supplied by the United States to attack inside Russian territory or in areas occupied by Russia, according to two US officials.

On Monday, Russia summoned the U.S. ambassador to protest what it said was the use of U.S. missiles in a Ukrainian attack on the Crimean peninsula on Sunday, which reportedly killed four people and injured more than 150.

kyiv’s Western allies have long considered Crimea — which Russia seized from Ukraine in 2014 in a move most of the world considers illegal — a fair target for Ukraine.

He Pentagon declared last week that the Ukrainian military is also authorized to use longer-range missiles provided by the United States to attack targets inside Russia if acting in self-defense. Since the beginning of the war, the United States had maintained a policy of not allowing Ukraine to use weapons it had provided to attack targets on Russian soil for fear of further escalation of the conflict.
