The Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Monday afternoon on Jesus T. Pinero Avenue, in front of the Taco Bell fast food restaurant, in the direction of Rio Piedras to Puerto Nuevo, in San Juan.
According to a preliminary police report, The driver of a white Nissan Pathfinder hit another vehicle causing it to overturn.
The driver died from his injuries.
Agent Marrero, from the Press Office of the Police Headquarters, confirmed to The new day that a stretch of Avenuein the direction of Rio Piedras to Puerto Nuevo, remains closed due to an oil spill caused by the accident.
