They detect more discrepancies in the PNP primaries, but do not reveal the magnitude

He New Progressive Party (PNP) continued on Saturday the audit of the results of five polling stations that did not match the receipts printed by the electronic counting machines, while, as the general scrutiny of the primaries progressed, additional inconsistencies had been identified to those reported the previous day, confirmed electoral commissioner Vanessa Santo Domingo.

Santo Domingo indicated, in writing, that the community is preparing a new report on the irregularities, but, at the time of this publication, it had not specified how many more discrepancies they had detected.

As of Friday, inconsistencies were reported in 91 schools and totaled nearly 9,000 ballots, including about 5,000 from the governor’s race, in which Jennifer Gonzalez defeated the incumbent Pedro Pierluisi.

“We should be finishing today (Saturday),” said Santo Domingo regarding the audit that the PNP would carry out for five of the schools with discrepancies, corresponding to precincts in Aguas Buenas, Arroyo, San Juan, Toa Baja and Las Marias.
