The Police reported this morning two carjackings that occurred yesterday, Monday, in separate events in Rio Piedras and Caguas, at night.
According to a news report, The first armed robbery was recorded on 65 Infanteria Avenue, in Rio Piedras, in front of the McDonalds fast food restaurant.
The injured party alleged that he was waiting for the light to change at the location when a “compact wine-colored car” intercepted him. Subsequently, “two masked individuals dismounted, one of them using a firearm and under threat and intimidation they stripped him of his motor vehicle.” The stolen vehicle was described as a Nissan Sentra, black, year 2020 and with JKS-264 plate.
The complainant indicated that the events occurred at 10:45 pm and that the assailants fled the scene in an unknown direction. The Police indicated that the victim was unharmed.

According to the injured party, “two individuals approached him through threats and intimidation while carrying a firearm, and they stripped him of his 2019 Hyundai Elantra vehicle, red in color, with the license plate JFC-717,” the news report states.
